Still time to take part…

Why do it?

This 3km run will give you something to aim for and you can take part with family and friends! It is a great opportunity to get involved in a really inclusive sporting event. Even easier than the 5K but with added festive fancy dress!

Will it be fun?

Of course it will! The pleasure of running a 3K course around our gorgeous rural village, in your own time. Prizes will be given for submitted photographs of participants with the best festive fancy dress.

What will it cost?

It costs £5 to enter using the button below.
You don’t need any expensive kit – you can wear anything you want – the more festive the better!

2020's event will be socially distanced - run in your own time.

The route will be marked with tinsel and 500m markers.

Starting at the Aldbourne Green, head up Crooked Corner and along the track until you get to Alma Road. Here turn right and along to meet Lottage Road. Turn tight and head along Lottage Road back into the village. When you get to Oxford Street, run past the Co-op and library then down the lane next to the Forge. Arriving at South Street, turn left until you get to the mini-roundabout, then head up Turnpike and through Rectory Wood out onto Farm Lane. Cross straight over and turn into the football pitch. Cross this and follow along the back of the tennis court. Cross over into the Garlings and complete a loop of the road, before heading back out onto Southward Lane. Turn left and run along and up the Butts and down Marlborough Road. Cross over at the Post Office and finish up in the Square.

Even if you don't want to run, you can help us raise funds for the school.

This year’s festive fun run is being organised in order to raise money to build a sustainable outdoor classroom. The school actively encourages learning outdoors to foster children’s wellbeing and to increase self-belief and confidence.

This year you don’t need to fill in an entry form, to sign up just make a donation to St Michael’s PTA below:
